EasySlide 2.5: New FAQ Page Builder, Automatic Theme Styling, Auto-Translate & More
EasySlide Accordion tabs & FAQ turns long product descriptions into clean accordion tabs and helps you build FAQ pages for your Shopify store. The latest update (August 2026) introduces a brand-new FAQ page builder, automatic theme styling, auto-translate, a split layout for product descriptions, and more. Here's what's new:
🧩 A New FAQ Page Builder
FAQ pages are now built entirely inside the app. Create as many FAQ pages as you need from the FAQ pages list, add your content in the editor, and publish. There's no need to write questions into a Shopify page or edit page content anymore. Each FAQ page gets its own link, with a View page button to open it on your storefront. FAQ pages you created earlier keep working as before.
🗂️ Question Groups & Headings
Organize your page into question groups, each with an optional heading and subheading, and drag questions and groups into the order you want. Edit, Duplicate, and Delete actions show tooltips, so it's always clear what each icon does.
🔍 Search Bar & Contact Form
Every FAQ page can include a search bar so shoppers find the answer they need in seconds, and a contact form for the questions your FAQ doesn't cover. Both are optional — turn either one on or off for each page.
🖥️ Fullscreen Editor with Live Preview
The Edit design button opens a fullscreen editor with settings for the page heading, search bar, questions, contact form, layout and colors, and font size. Pick a One column or Two columns layout, and every change shows up in the live preview right away, so you see exactly how the page will look before you save.
🎨 Automatic Theme Styling
EasySlide now reads your theme's styles and applies matching colors to your FAQ page automatically, so it looks like part of your store from the start. Want something different? Switch from Auto to Manual and fine-tune the detected colors yourself.
🌍 Auto-Translate
Selling in more than one language? Turn on Auto-translate and your questions and headings are translated from your store's default language into every other language automatically. You can switch between language tabs to review the translations before publishing, and the app remembers your last choice for the next question you add. To edit a translation by hand, simply turn auto-translate off for that item.
📐 Split Layout for Product Descriptions
A new installation option lets you keep the opening part of your product description visible and show the rest as accordion tabs below it. Set Content above the first heading to Plain text in the app settings, add the Description (top part) and Accordion (bottom part) blocks to your product template, and EasySlide splits each description into an intro and an accordion. The setup guide walks you through both steps.
🧭 Redesigned Installation Page & App Status
The installation page now has clear step-by-step guides for each layout — Product description panels (All-in-one) and Product description panels (Split layout) — with a Start setup button that opens the theme editor right on your product template. The dashboard shows the status of each app embed and block, so you can see at a glance what's live in your theme and what still needs to be turned on.
🔗 Custom FAQ Page Address
The FAQ pages screen now shows the address your FAQ pages are served from, with a link to change it in your Shopify settings and a short video that shows how. Changed it? Open your live FAQ page once and the app picks up the new address automatically.
