EasyTabs 2.0: Redesigned Admin, Tabs/Accordion Switcher, Annual Plan & More
Easy Tabs ‑ Product Tabs is a Shopify app that lets merchants organize product page content — descriptions, FAQs, shipping info, size guides, reviews — into clean, professional tabs. Version 2.0 (released June 2026) brings a full admin redesign, a new layout switcher between tabs and accordions, fullscreen design settings, a revamped onboarding experience, and more. Here's what's new:
🎨 Fresh Admin Design
The EasyTabs admin has a new look — cleaner, fresher, and even more intuitive to navigate. Everything you need is easier to find and nicer to work with.
🗂️ Tabs / Accordion Layout Switcher
You can now switch between Tabs and Accordion layouts directly from the settings — no more needing to edit theme templates. Desktop and mobile layouts are configured independently:
- Desktop: Tabs or Accordion
- Mobile: Keep regular tabs, Accordion, or Full-width Tab
This makes it easy to serve the right layout for every device without any code changes.
⛶ Fullscreen Design Settings
Design settings now open in a fullscreen editor. More room to work means more clarity — you can configure tab styles, colors, typography, and spacing without feeling squeezed into a sidebar panel.
🚀 New Onboarding Wizard
First-time users now go through a guided welcome experience that explains how EasyTabs works, walks through the two tab modes (standard per-product tabs vs. shared tabs across collections), and gets the widget live in the published theme faster. The onboarding also covers which heading levels (H1–H6) map to tab titles — one of the most common early questions.
✨ Refreshed Design Presets
All built-in style presets have been reviewed and updated. The settings panel now groups shared styling options (fonts, colors, borders) separately from per-preset overrides, so changing a global style doesn't require touching each preset individually. The structure mirrors what merchants already know from other NexusMedia apps like Sized.
📊 Updated Dashboard
The home dashboard now surfaces your static tabs list (up to 5 shown by default to keep the view compact), standard tab settings, and a live preview that updates as you change heading level or switch between Plain text and Panel modes. The panel content editor opens in a popup so you can manage it without leaving the dashboard.
📅 Annual Plan (New)
EasyTabs now offers a yearly billing option with a discount. Same full feature set, lower price for merchants who are in it for the long haul.
🌍 20 Native Languages
EasyTabs now supports 20 languages with native translations! Merchants in non-English markets get a fully localized admin experience out of the box.
🔗 Integration with Sized (NexusMedia Size Charts)
EasyTabs 2.0 adds a native integration with Sized, NexusMedia's size chart app. Merchants using both apps can now embed size charts as a tab content type directly from the EasyTabs interface — no copy-pasting embed codes.
